About Us
Welcome to Little Monkey's nursery / preschool, we are dedicated to provide a safe, stimulating and exciting environment through structured play for children from the age of 1 to 5 years in order to provide them with the key skills for future development. We can offer many kinds of activities with a great selection of resources available within our Village Hall setting in addition we also have available an outstanding fully equipped outdoor play area for more active play for those days when weather allows.
Children may join the Playgroup at any stage in the year subject to availability. We offer two sessions a day Monday to Friday; mornings run from 8.30am - 12:20pm and afternoons from 12.30pm - 4.30pm.
it can be a stressful time starting at any new setting for both the child and parent and with this in mind we encourage parents to bring along their children to see the playgroup "in action" and experience the atmosphere and meet the staff.

Funding at Little Monkeys Playgroup.
We offer funded childcare places for eligible families.
Working families funding - from 1 years old.
Eligible working families may be entitled to up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week, available from 1 years old up to 4 years old.
The 30 hours can also be stretched across the year, giving you more flexibility with your child's funded hours.
3&4 year old Funding - 15 hours -
all eligible 3 and 4 year old are entitled to 15 hours per week, starting from the term after their third birthday.
Additional Hours
if you require more childcare than your funded hours allow, additional hours are available at £7.02 per hour.
